Comprised of downtown residents, our volunteer Board of Directors meets monthly on the 1st Tuesday of each month at 6:00pm. Board meetings are held at the DDA office, 300 Clematis Street, Suite 200, West Palm Beach, FL 33401. Members are welcome to attend.

President - Sitima Fowler Originally from Rochester, NY, Sitima Fowler visited downtown West Palm Beach in 2018 and never looked back. She has made downtown her home and loves showing off all that our area has to offer to those who might be vacationing, working or just passing through. Besides being a founder and investor in Integris IT, she is a consultant to the technology industry and the owner of a hospitality vacation rental business, Bliss Villas. She began her career as an engineer working for Xerox and then managing the development platform for General Motors fuel cell vehicles before becoming an entrepreneur. Sitima and her company has won many awards including being listed on Inc 5000, Rochester Top 100, and the Small Business Person of the Year award. Besides work, she enjoys mentoring others and investing time and resources on community initiatives. She enjoys walking the Lake Trail, snorkeling the Blue Heron Bridge trail, painting, and gourmet cooking with ingredients from the Greenmarket. She is grateful she gets to live where others vacation. |

Vice President - Cynthia Nalley Cynthia Nalley is a longtime Downtown West Palm Beach resident and advocate. She also serves on the Downtown Development Authority Board and has led efforts to create a sense of community through events and service. Cynthia is a Project Management Professional (PMP), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), and Managing Broker at Acquire Palm Beach. She began her career creating technology systems and managing complex projects for SunTrust, Citibank, JP Morgan Chase, and many more. Cynthia’s favorite Downtown spots are the Mandel Library (great independent movie selection and free yoga!) and the Municipal Docks at sunset. She is very grateful to support West Palm Beach as it grows into a world class city while retaining its rich history and sense of place. |

Secretary - Pamela Cairns Pamela Cairns was born in Chicago Il and received her degree in Interior design from Ball State University in Muncie, IN. Not being a fan of cold weather and snow, Pamela moved to Miami Beach, FL in 1998. In 2013 she decided a make a change and moved to West Palm Beach. After deciding this was the perfect city for her, she purchased her first condo downtown west palm in February 2020. Pamela sells marble, tile and slabs for a high end tile showroom in WPB. Her clients include architects, interior designers, palm beach residents and celebrities. Pamela is an avid traveler but when she's not flying around the world, you can find her walking the waterfront, or at one of our local happy hour spots.

Treasurer - Danilo Freitas, MAcc, CFA, CPA/ABV, CEIV, FMVA, CFE Danilo Freitas is a part of CohnReznick Advisory Group’s Transaction Advisory Services practice and is based in Miami. Danilo has eight years of advisory experience, including five years of experience in a valuation and transaction advisory capacity. His valuation and transaction experience includes publicly traded and privately held businesses in a range of industries including logistics and transportation, renewable energy, government contracting, software and IT services, technology manufacturing, professional services, retail, construction, and others. Danilo is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV), Certified in Entity and Intangibles Valuation (CEIV), and was most recently awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. |

Director - Peter L. Cruise, Ph.D. Peter is a long time resident of Palm Beach County and now happily calls downtown West Palm Beach home. Peter is the Executive Director of the LeRoy Collins Public Ethics Academy and an Affiliate Associate Professor at Florida Atlantic University. Both his academic and professional careers have been focused on improving the ethical climate in public sector programs and organizations. After serving in the U.S. Air Force, Peter began his civilian career in West Palm Beach in the early 1980s, working at St. Mary’s Hospital, and the Palm Beach Blood Bank, and later at Martin Memorial Hospital in Stuart. Since graduating with his Ph.D. from FAU in 1995, he taught ethics and organizational behavior in colleges and universities around the United Sates. In March 2018, Peter was appointed as a Palm Beach County Ethics Commissioner where he currently serves as Chair of the Ethics Commission. In addition to being the Chair of the Palm Beach County Inspector General Review Committee, he serves on Boards of Directors of Community Partners of South Florida, NonProfits First of Palm Beach County, the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches, the Women’s Chamber of Commerce of Palm Beach County, and the Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce. |

Director - Rick Rose Rick Rose is the founder of Palm Beach Vacation Rentals but is best-known around town for his deep knowledge of Palm Beach history. In fact, the West Palm native is so well versed in all things Palm Beach that he penned a book on the subject; Palm Beach: The Essential Guide to America’s Legendary Resort Town became the leading guide to the island upon its initial 2017 publication (the second edition will hit shelves in October). As the official historian for the Worth Avenue Association, Rose leads weekly walking tours of the area that raise money for a charity of choice each season. In addition to being a member of the Historical Society of Palm Beach County, Flagler Museum, and Palm Beach Preservation Foundation, Rose serves on the board of Discover the Palm Beaches and supports Ballet Palm Beach. |

Director - Erin Sadler Erin Sadler moved to West Palm Beach in 2017. An HR Director with a background in several industries (media, beverage, telecommunications, and accounting), her strengths lie in identifying gaps, pioneering new processes, and leading change initiatives. Erin grew up in Arkansas and has a Master's degree in Operations Management from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. Between travelling internationally and living in several cities (Denver, Seattle, and LA), she has a great appreciation for what makes West Palm so wonderful and unique. A fan of the waterfront lifestyle – whether it’s boating, walking the intracoastal, or stocking up on guacamole at the green market – Erin helps lead the DNA Parks Committee and is committed to enhancing our vibrant downtown community. |
