On Tuesday, February 18, the Downtown Neighborhood Association (DNA) hosted a Meet the Candidates Night, at the Mandel Library. This was a resident-led, debate-style conversation, moderated by DNA Vice President Mike Schmidt. We heard directly from the candidates running for City Commission.
The City Commission election is on March 10, and commissioners are elected citywide. The decisions they make directly affect downtown — from development and zoning to traffic, safety, and neighborhood services. Whether you own or rent downtown, these decisions impact your daily life.
And please vote on March 10th at the United Haitian Baptist Church, 2015 Parker Ave.
Here is a professional Video Recording of the full event.
