The No Garage Sale Event Rules

The No Garage Sale is a special event presented by the WPB Downtown Neighborhood Association (DNA) to be held Sunday, June 26 from 4:00 - 700pm in the Meyer Amphitheater, Downtown West Palm Beach. This is a RAIN OR SHINE event and no refunds will be issued.

All potential Sellers must fill out an application by June 20, 2022 to participate in the event. This event is for WPB DNA Residents Only. No businesses will be allowed to sell items. The DNA reserves the right to withdraw the invitation extended to any No Garage Sale participant and will refund the participant's application fee.

SELLER RESPONSIBILITIES 

Sellers are required to manage the loading and unloading of all items. There will be a designated loading zone and start time. Sellers also agree to clean up at the end of the event and remove all garbage and unwanted items. Volunteers will be on hand to help you throughout the event.

Products should be displayed in an organized way and prices should be displayed.

Sellers are responsible for collecting payments from buyers and are encouraged to accept cash and electronic payments. Sales will not be tracked; however, this is a fundraiser and we request that you donate a percentage of your profits on the day of the event to the DNA, an all-volunteer 501c3 nonprofit neighborhood association. 

PRODUCT ELIGIBILITY 

The goal of this event is to help Downtown residents sell their unwanted goods to the public and provide a fun experience for all participants. The DNA reserves the right to limit and restrict products. All items should be in reasonably good condition - no junk please! Get creative with your presentation and make your products stand out.

Examples of Approved Items:

  • Home décor - cushions, frames, vases, mirrors, lamps, baskets, coasters, candles
  • Art - Wall art, sculptures, framed prints
  • Kitchen items 
  • Books and DVDs
  • Clothing - designer, vintage, like new 
  • Jewelry
  • Collectibles - Albums, toys, coins, comic books, stamps
  • Sports equipment 
  • Tools - Step ladders, drills, toolboxes 
  • Balcony Items - Plant pots, Watering can, small tables

Prohibited Items:

  • Any food items including baked goods
  • Sale of alcoholic beverages or controlled substances
  • Weapons
  • Any items depicting offensive material

MEYER AMPHITHEATER RULES

  1. Tents, tables, and chairs will be provided and professionally installed. Any other presentation equipment must be approved in advance by the DNA.
  2. No sharp objects or stakes can be used on the lawn of the Meyer. There will be a $500 fine by the City if the ground is punctured.
  3. No driving of any vehicle shall be permitted on the grass as it may result in tire ruts and may cause damage to the irrigation system. Loading zones will be provided for you at a reserved parking meter.
  4. No glass containers shall be allowed at the Event. Glass items for sale should be in protective covering.

PHOTOGRAPHY RELEASE

Sellers grant permission to the WPB Downtown Neighborhood Association to use any photography, motion picture, recording or any other record of me in this Event for legitimate purposes. 

LIABILITY RELEASE

Sellers release and hold harmless the WPB Downtown Neighborhood Association, its officers, employees, agents, and volunteers, from any liability, obligation or responsibility under the laws of the State of Florida, for any claim, injury, loss or damage arising from The No Garage Sale. Sellers accept full responsibility for their actions and activities during the Event.
